I have been busy organising my youngest daughter's school fete, along with all the normal school drops offs and after school sport/ballet/work drops offs which has left no time for me. I am hoping to get back into it over the easter break.
If you live in the Redlands area or even in Brisbane and have some spare time on Saturday come and have some fun at our Easter Carnival - it really is a fantastic day out for all the family - here is the write up from the local paper.
The Wellington Point State School Easter Carnival has become one of the leading carnivals in the Redlands.
It will be held at the school Saturday 4th April from 12.30pm and finishes with a spectacular fireworks display at 7.00pm. Admission is free.
Following the official opening at 12.30pm by the Redland City Mayor Melva Hobson there will be performances by the school’s award winning choir’s and then the school bands.

Further entertainment throughout the day will be provided by the Redlands Scottish and Celtic Society pipes and dancers, Redlands Ladies Drum Corp, Air Magic SkippersThe New Day Singers, , Sports Karate, FAD Cheerleaders, Club PJ’s Hip Hop Dancers, Salad Bowl Square Dancers, Redlands Barbershop Singers, Redlans Sporting Club Pipe Band and the Redlands Dog Obedience Club.
The carnvial will host an exciting array of stalls including a Make Over Zone with fantastic new and exclusive giggle wigs, White Elephant, Monster Book Stall, Crafts, with a special Make & Take Class Room, Plants, Sand Wizard, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Cakes, Show Bags and Novelties, Face Painting, Sno Cones and more.
Their will be plenty of fun down side show alley with unlimited ride bracelets for sale at just $25.

Carnival goers can try their lfortune on the Lucky Wheel or with tickets in one of the raffles.
Patrons can take a stroll around the vintage and classic trucks or some of the other displays , then relax in the cake and coffee shop or in our licensed bar.
Plenty of great food and drinks including Yakatori, Burgers, Sandwiches will be available.
